Bachelor's: Eastern Mennonite University Dr. Kabongo practices within the UCSD Healthcare Scripps Ranch medical practice. Drawn to medicine at an early age by a fascination with the complexity of the human body, I enjoy melding the science of medicine with the art of healing. Knowing that I can make a difference in people’s lives, especially when they are at their most vulnerable, is extremely rewarding. I am the director of Surf*Net, an organization in which community physicians work with the faculty of academic Family Medicine programs to conduct research in office practice. Surf*Net’s goal is to develop a vital body of knowledge in the field of family medicine by combining research and clinical practice.
